Let me tell you my story.
It all started on a farm in Iowa 🌽 …
Growing up in the Midwest during the 90s and 2000s, I was surrounded by two powerful influences: a culture hyper-focused on thinness and a lifestyle driven by convenience. In my family, diets were common; my mom and grandma were always counting calories or talking about ways to slim down.
Like many families, we relied on quick, easy-to-prepare meals—cereal, frozen dinners, microwave meals, Pop-Tarts, and Lunchables. Nutritious options were limited, and the idea of “wellness” wasn’t something I heard discussed.
This combination led me to think health was just about eating less and working out more to fit a certain mold. Without awareness or better resources, true well-being felt out of reach.
When I moved to Los Angeles after college, the pressures only intensified. Surrounded by a culture that prioritized appearance, I tried everything to keep up, but it left me feeling worn out and disconnected from who I truly was.

Thankfully, living in Los Angeles 🌴…
Living in California exposed me to something extraordinary: a vibrant wellness culture that embraced holistic living. Here, I discovered nutrition, meditation, and self-care practices that made health feel expansive, enjoyable, and fulfilling for the first time. This new approach transformed my perspective, showing me that wellness could be about nourishing, not restricting, and truly living well.
A plot twist I didn’t see coming.
The Turning Point ↪️ …
While my journey into wellness was transformative, my corporate sales job was taking a significant toll. The relentless pace and mounting stress depleted my energy, impacted my health, and left me feeling disconnected from my true purpose. Deep dow, I knew it was time to make a change.
Confronting this truth, I made the bold decision to pivot.
Rather than remain stuck in a cycle of burnout, I seized the opportunity to prioritize my own well-being. Initially, my focus was simply on feeling good and healthy—I hadn’t planned to become a coach. But as I uncovered the power of mindfulness, harmony, and simple self-care, a new passion emerged.
This journey didn’t just change my life; it ignited a mission: to empower others to cultivate a healthy, fulfilling life on their own terms.
